Executive Director, Enterprise-Wide Operational Risk Testing

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to lead our Enterprise-Wide Operational Risk Testing team. A successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing a Firmwide operational risk testing framework and program designed to cover the breadth of Morgan Stanley's businesses, products and geographical footprint.

Responsibilities:
- Leverage automation, analytics and AI to enhance the existing operational risk testing framework inclusive of risk-based approach to multi-year testing strategy and execution against strategy for various operational risk domains.
- Lead a team of operational risk testing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective risk management practices are in place.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on operational risk testing results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in operational risk management and testing methodologies. - Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in operational risk management, with a focus on third party risk management, fraud risk, business disruption and resilience, and transaction processing and execution risk.
- Background in analytics and working with large data-sets to perform data driven testing
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to operational risk management.

Required Years of Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in operational risk management or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Skills:
- Professional certifications in risk management or related fields (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP).
- Experience with risk management tools and software.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
