Purpose
We are seeking a Fixed Income ESG Analyst to support the firm's ESG research and investment platform, with a primary focus on managing and coordinating ESG-related content for client due diligence, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and other investor communications. This role is designed for a detail-oriented and highly organized professional who is interested in the intersection of ESG, fixed income investing, and client reporting.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and timely submission of ESG-related responses for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), consultant databases, and other investor information requests for fixed income strategies.
- Maintain and enhance ESG response libraries, templates, and supporting materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with firm-wide ESG practices and fixed income investment processes.
- Collect, organize, and validate ESG data, issuer-level information, and qualitative disclosures by partnering with fixed income investment teams, ESG research, compliance, legal, and operations.
- Monitor and summarize developments in ESG regulation, disclosure standards, and industry frameworks as they relate to fixed income markets and investor expectations.
- Provide operational and workflow support to the ESG research team, including tracking research deliverables, managing timelines, coordinating inputs, and supporting prioritization across ongoing projects.
- Assist with the organization, maintenance, and quality control of ESG research materials, issuer assessments, data sources, and internal documentation to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Support internal ESG reporting, record-keeping, and process documentation to facilitate audits, internal reviews, and ongoing investor due diligence.
- Respond to ad hoc ESG-related client inquiries and support cross-functional initiatives related to ESG integration within fixed income strategies.
- Explore opportunities to automate selected functions using AI, including developing and managing agents to carry out these tasks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields in the Sustainability space; Master's degree a plus.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably with experience in responsible investment and ESG analysis.
- Knowledge of fixed income asset classes and investment strategies.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English.
- Self-motivated, work individually or as part of a team with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Advanced MS Office (Word/PowerPoint/Excel) skills; experience with financial tools and databases (e.g., Bloomberg, MSCI) and coding skills a plus.
