Division Profile
The EMEA Legal and Compliance Division is charged with day-to-day oversight and coordination of the Firm's compliance with core regulatory requirements covering all businesses including Institutional Sales and Trading (fixed income, commodities and equities), Investment Banking, Global Capital Markets, Research and Investment Management across the EMEA region.
Team Profile
EMEA Enterprise Compliance is primarily an internally focused team managing a number of key frameworks including:
- Compliance Training Framework
- Licensing Framework
- Rules Management Framework
- Policy Framework
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the EMEA Head of Enterprise Compliance, with primary focus on the Training and Policy frameworks, as well as providing assistance with Rules Management and Licensing tasks.

The role involves collaborating across the Division to manage the Policy framework and help develop and deliver consistent, well-structured, and effective Training to the business. The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience with proofreading and training content delivery an advantage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Training programme support, liaison with Compliance Coverage and external vendors on the development of training, ensuring compliance with Firm and EMEA regulatory standards
- Maintenance of the Policy framework and the team's policies and procedures
- Reviewing regulatory rule feeds and key regulatory websites to identify emerging regulations and processing regulatory change events in the Firm's rules management tool
- Maintenance of relevant licenses and permissions
- Management information (MI), creation of various MI and metrics
- Provide support on projects and initiatives as required
- Other tasks including shared inbox management and budget / invoice management

- Strong written and communication skills

- Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to remain focused under pressure
Experience/Technical S k ills re q uir e d
- Previous experience in a Law Firm, financial services, securities house, regulator or consultancy practice
- A law degree (or a degree including legal content) would be an advantage
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel e.g., pivot tables and Vlookups, Word, and PowerPoint
