Create and review data architecture, engineering standards, best practices, and architecture models, as part of global ENS network engineering team. Evaluate, architect, and engineer enterprise network solutions for Internet bound applications, DMZs, public cloud and private cloud infrastructure. Architect and formulate network designs that meet the firm's standard, network architectures, comprising core technology principles, cloud principles and defense-in-depth ring architectures. Design and implement networking infrastructure that support monolithic and microservices architecture across datacenters, DMZs & clouds. Provide engineering support, testing and validation of networking components within Kubernetes architecture. Provide engineering support to operations team while executing critical network changes, disaster recovery testing & migration of services. Host global network engineering meetings to review designs in accordance with security blueprints. Assist in training operations, including Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and guiding engineering teams in executing best practices and policies as required. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

Salary :

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $181,000 and $181,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Network Design Engineer, Computer Programmer, Software Developer, or related occupation in the technology field. Requires five (5) years' experience with: integrating, designing, implementing and migrating Secure datacenter, private and public cloud networking technologies; Network Design including internet plant, market data vendor connectivity DMZs, datacenter networks, cloud services DMZs (De-militarized Zone), secure firewall DMZs, DiD (Ring), DMZs for branch connectivity and internet offload; Routing & Switching Protocols such as VLAN, DOT1Q, RSTP, EtherChannel, vPC, BGP, OSPF, RIP, VxLAN, HSRP, VRRP, FlowSpec, DMZ zoning; Network Security Frameworks: Firewall Rules, ACLs, PACLs, DMZ configurations, IPSEC VPN, GRE; Public Cloud Infrastructure, including AWS and Azure, along with networking components that provide high availability, load balancing, NAT, switching, routing, and firewall functionality; Private Cloud Kubernetes Networking including CNI and architecture, host and pod networks, BGP and cluster, overlay, external traffic policy variations, observability, iptables, kube-proxy, NAT, security policy, ingress and egress, and IPAM; Linux-Based Enterprise Computing such as OpenShift-Red Hat; Cisco; Arista; Juniper; IBM Devices; and Blade Network Technology (BNT); Network Configuration and Automation including Linux Scripting, pre- and post-Checks during network changes, Python scripting, Ansible, Git and CI/CD Processes; Network Observability including monitoring, spans, taps, aggregation, load balancing mechanisms, capture and tooling systems; Migration Strategy & Planning for New Datacenters, Wireless, DMZs, Branch Networks; Regulatory Requirement Analysis, Audit & Compliance Adherence; Implemented process and system improvements, recommendations, and updates to networking infrastructure and related information.
