We're seeking someone to join our team as a Data Analyst, Compensation Regulatory Design Team, Associate. The position supports Firmwide regulatory-driven programs, including the annual Covered Employee Identification process and Performance Organizational Metrics Dashboard with a strong emphasis on data integrity, documentation, analytics, as well as process execution and improvement. The role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with experience in managing complex data sets, coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives, and producing high-quality materials for senior management.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must thrive in collaborative global environments, be a self-starter under senior supervision capable of solving complex problems, be able to multi-task across a variety of projects and processes, be a clear and succinct communicator, and have excellent attention to details.

Morgan Stanley Human Resource's (HR) Workforce Architecture and Risk Management Team (WARM) supports the development, execution, and oversight of critical HR initiatives aligned to the Firm's risk and control frameworks. This role partners closely with functions across HR, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, Technology, and business stakeholders to ensure the design, implementation, and execution of processes across performance management, compensation, workforce strategy and regulatory compliance.
In the Human Capital Management division, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed. This is an Associate level position within Compensation.

What you'll do in the role:
• Support the execution and ongoing management of firmwide HR regulatory programs, including the annual Covered Employee Identification (CE ID) process and Performance Organizational Metrics Dashboard.
• Collect, aggregate, manage, and analyze large, complex employee datasets from multiple streams of data to support regulatory and governance processes.
• Produce analytics and reports to support senior leadership decision-making and identify key insights and trends.
• Support preparation of high-quality materials and presentations for senior stakeholders and governance committees to facilitate the decision-making processes.
• Maintain thorough process documentation to support internal reviews, audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Using AI and data analytics visualization platforms, identify and facilitate opportunities to streamline, automate, and collaborate with other teams to enable IT system implementation and integration.
What you'll bring in the role:
• Bachelor's degree required with 2-5 years of professional experience supporting analytics and large complex processes or initiatives in a large complex organization.
• Advanced Excel skills required with hands-on experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency with all other Microsoft Office, emphasis on Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.
• Experience with Alteryx, Dataiku, KNIME or equivalent data analytics visualization platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical capability to synthesize complex data and regulatory concepts into clear, concise insights and recommendations.
• Business level verbal and written communications skills in English required.
• Excellent organization and planning skills with eye for attention to detail. Project management experience beneficial.
• Self-starter who thrives in global collaborative environments and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong interest in continuous improvement, process efficiency, and learning new systems and technologies.
