Credit Risk Stress Testing Analyst

We are seeking a Credit Risk Stress Testing Analyst to support the Credit Risk Stress Testing team (Lending and Counterparty) within the Credit Risk Department, based in Budapest.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:

• Analyze and identify potential vulnerabilities of the Firm based on loss projections under various internal and regulatory financial scenarios (including CCAR, CECL, IFRS9, and Climate Risk).
• Produce and communicate results of scenario analyses to senior management and global stakeholders.
• Perform ad-hoc stress testing exercises and contribute to risk identification and scenario design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Risk, Finance, IT, Business) to enhance stress testing processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and advanced analytics.
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, finance, statistics/mathematics, sciences, or engineering).
• Comfortable using data analytics tools such as Excel, VBA or SQL
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (Basel, IFRS9, CCAR, EBA) is an advantage.
