We're seeking someone to join our team as an Analyst in Credit Risk Team.

In the Firm Risk Management division, we advise businesses across the Firm on risk mitigation strategies, develop tools to analyse and monitor risks and lead key regulatory initiatives.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Monitor and validate daily movements in counterparty credit risk exposures across multiple exposure metrics (e.g., CE/PE95), including variance and root cause analysis and counterparty volatility reviews, and support cross functional alignment on exposure methodologies and key insights.
  • Identify and help remediate data quality issues in exposure numbers by proactively engaging with stakeholders and product experts within and outside Credit Risk Management (CRM).
  • Review trade booking structures and model calculation outputs to validate exposures and support corrective actions or adjustments within defined timelines.
  • Analyse trades, model outputs, and data flows (including legal terms, collateral, market composition, and market data curves) contributing to credit portfolios, to support explanation of exposure movements and model changes.
  • Perform validation checks to help maintain and improve the integrity of data used in exposure reporting.
  • Identify and investigate issues through DIMs/JIRAs, perform structured root cause analysis, and coordinate with Data Control and Agile IT teams to support timely remediation of upstream issues.
  • Proactively engage with stakeholders and product partners across functions, including Credit Officers, Risk Analytics, Trading Desks, Middle Office, IT, and other risk teams within FRM, to support data remediation activities.
  • Support transaction testing requests from internal stakeholders (e.g., Internal Audit) and external parties (including regulators), as required.
  • Participate in Change the Bank (CtB) initiatives and contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and documentation.
  • Support and contribute to the firm's automation and AI initiatives through participation in process improvements and tooling enhancements.
