Corporate Actions_Vice President_Product Support & Service IM
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Corporate Actions - Vice President who will lead the global Corporate Actions team at a leading Asset Manager, managing a team of 10 FTEs based in India that supports corporate action processing across global portfolios and markets.
This role requires a hands-on leader with strong subject-matter expertise who can ensure accuracy, timeliness, and control in the processing of mandatory and voluntary events, proxy voting, class actions, and tax reclaim oversight. As part of a global asset management platform, the individual will be accountable for delivering seamless end-to-end Corporate Actions support while proactively identifying issues and process inefficiencies. They will play a key role in driving innovation by exploring AI, automation, and next-generation technologies to transform and modernize the Corporate Actions function. They must have strong analytical, automation (low code) tooling, pro dev capabilities, and AI strategies and solutions, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills and be able to build and foster relationships at all levels of the firm's, clients', and outsourcing agent's organization.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is a Department Manager position at Vice President level within the Product Support & Services IM.

What you'll bring to the role:
- Global Corporate Actions Oversight: Lead the global Corporate Actions team in processing and tracking mandatory and voluntary events across multiple regions and asset classes
- Proxy Voting & Governance: Manage global proxy voting operations, ensuring compliance with governance standards and client policies
- Class Actions: Oversee monitoring, tracking, and administration of global class action claims to safeguard investor entitlements
- Tax Reclaim Oversight: Provide global oversight for tax reclaims related to corporate actions, ensuring compliance with documentation and regulatory requirements
- Global Communication: Act as the key point of contact with custodians, brokers, and data providers worldwide, ensuring timely and accurate event information and instructions
- Portfolio Application: Ensure corporate action events are correctly reflected in portfolios, accounting, and investment systems across the firm
- Risk & Exception Management: Identify, escalate, and resolve discrepancies, breaks, and exceptions in a timely and well-controlled manner
- Process Innovation: Champion the adoption of automation, AI, and advanced technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk management
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of 10 FTEs, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- KPI & SLA Reporting: Track and report on operational metrics (timeliness, accuracy, efficiency) to senior management within the global asset management organization
- Industry Leading Technologies: Use industry-leading technologies like Alteryx, PowerBI, GenAI, etc., to develop tools for the operations team to pursue automation and enhance efficiency.
What you'll bring to the role:
- 12+ years of experience in Corporate Actions operations, preferably within Asset Management or Global Investment Operations
- Expertise across mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, proxy voting, class actions, and tax reclaims
- Strong understanding of global market practices, custodian processes, and regulatory standards
- Proven leadership experience managing global teams (8-15 FTEs) in a fast-paced, high-control environment
- Experience working with corporate action processing systems (e.g., Bloomberg, SWIFT, DTCC, custodian portals)
- Demonstrated ability to drive process re-engineering, automation, and AI adoption to modernize operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with both internal and external partners across regions
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (advanced qualifications a plus)
