The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Commodities, Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets.
Position Description:
The CLO Warehouse Lending Analyst/Associate will play a key role in origination, negotiation, execution and risk management of US CLO warehouse lending facilities, both for broadly syndicated loan (BSL) CLOs and middle market / private credit CLOs. In this role, this professional will directly interface with clients as well as internal stakeholders such as Credit, Legal, Asset Management and Sales. This professional will be a core member of a team that originates and risk manages a large and dynamic book of warehouse loans that support clients' aggregation of BSL or middle market / private credit loans in anticipation of securitizations. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to contribute to advancing new lending structures in both the BSL and middle market / private credit warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead warehouse negotiations with clients and coordinate across internal stakeholders, including Structuring, Distribution, Credit, Legal, and others.
- Present to senior management on key transaction terms, expected returns, market developments, and other factors as part of the approval process for new transactions.
- Manage existing risk in partnership with Asset Management and the Loan Trading desk, and proactively assess the potential impact of market and geopolitical events on the portfolio.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the broader Corporate Credit Complex, including CLOs, direct lender finance, and First Outs lending, in both the U.S. and Europe to evolve the product offering in response to client needs.
- Lead the management of projections and pipeline forecasts for internal stakeholders, including partnering with the COO team to deliver treasury-aligned risk insights and clear forecasting.
- Partner with the team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk protocols.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in finance, preferably in one or more of the following areas: secured lending, securitized products, or sales and trading
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and coordinate across multiple stakeholders under tight deadlines
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong interest in working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Series 7, 63, 79 required

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $125,000 per year at the commencement of employment for Analyst, and between $150,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment for Associate. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
