Climate Risk Central Team Analyst
We are searching a new colleague on Analyst Level, working within the EMEA Climate Risk Central (CRC). The CRC team identifies, monitors and manages Climate Risk of the EMEA portfolio based on the established Climate Risk Management framework. The team is responsible for monitoring regulatory requirements from the European Central Bank and the Bank of England, as well as ensuring the timely implementation of new regulations. The CRC team coordinates the implementation of the Climate Risk frameworks across Risk Management teams providing expertise on Climate and Environmental Risks. The CRC team also coordinates climate stress testing including internal and regulatory scenarios.

What will you be doing?
- Develop expertise in climate and environmental risk as drivers of financial institutions financial risks and contributes to embed these risks in the Risk Management Framework
- Conduct analysis or visualization of climate data for risk management purpose
- Conduct Research on climate risk topics
- Work with IT on climate tool implementation
- Keep up with the regulatory and business requirements on climate risk, credit modeling approaches, and climate data
- Develop an understanding of climate stress testing methodologies
- Contribute to external disclosure requirements pertaining to scenario analysis processes and output
- Liaise with stakeholders across risk disciplines to support the implementation of climate and environmental risk frameworks
- Draft and develop governance materials and risk framework documentation
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Math/Statistics/Econometrics/Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
- Strong analytics skills required
- Profound interest in developing fundamental understanding of Climate and Environmental Risks and its implications for risk management
- Climate risk knowledge (preferred)
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience in risk management, particularly in Credit / Market Risk and/or Stress Testing experience within a financial services setting (preferred)
- The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, both written and verbally
- An interest in working in a fast-paced environment, often balancing multiple high priority deliverables
- The ability to work independently in a self-directed way in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
