We are seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Client Onboarding & Reference Data Services (CORDS) responsible for regulatory client onboarding, refresh, and screening. Client Onboarding & Reference Data Services (CORDS) is an Operations function, responsible for regulatory client onboarding, refresh, and screening.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. T his is an Associate level position level position within the Firmwide operations division.

What you ' ll do in the role:

  • Understanding and implementation of KYC standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Strong clients focus and ability to partner with various internal groups and client coverage.
  • Exhibit the highest standards of customer service to our internal and external customers (inclusive of confidentiality)
  • Effectively address any issues that might be escalated by either internal or external clients
  • Communicate with clients and sales coverage to provide regulation guidance, organizing client calls where needed.
  • Proactively highlight potential issues to management
  • Identify root causes, understand connections and implications, and evaluate alternatives
  • Make decisions that are effective and well-grounded based on guidelines, policies, and insights
  • Be flexible, multitask and effectively manage priorities across the wider function


What you'll bring to the role:
  • College/University degree or equivalent with a business focus and relevant/proven experience
  • Relevant experience of 3+ years, preferred . AML, client onboarding, or client reference data experience desired
  • Previous knowledge of case management or portfolio management preferred . Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues and senior management
  • Strong relationship building skills to influence/negotiate desired outcomes
  • Ability to deep-dive and investigate issues to see a successful resolution . Ability to identify risks and issues and successfully navigate through to completion
  • Foster and champion High-Performance Culture where people are empowered to make decisions that affect their work/environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting in a cross-functional team and to senior stakeholders using business intelligence tools (Tableau, PowerBI, QlikView., etc.) preferred
