Cash Management Associate

We're seeking someone to join our team a s a Cash Management Associate to support Restricted Currency NPA and onboarding of restricted currency support model, as well as ongoing support for additional BAU support for restricted currency funding upon go live.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

This is a professional position at Associate within Core Services, which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

Department Profile:

The Cash Management department sits within the Operations division and has primary responsibility for operational control, management and reporting of the firm's cash and liquidity. With regional hubs located in Asia Pacific, EMEA and Americas, Cash Management operates in the sense of a true firm-wide global utility; Cash Management comprises the following core functional business lines:

  • Liquidity Management
  • Treasury Trade Support
  • Cash Analytics
  • Payment Control


What you' ll do in the role:
  • Accurately forecast, efficiently fund, analyze and report on daily currency and legal entity liquidity requirements.
  • Provide project management support and delivery of key cash management infrastructure changes, including support of regional business initiatives
  • Working with technology for implementation of new processing platforms and system enhancements
  • Working with legal/compliance, IT and project teams to analyze new regulatory report requirements and work to achieve automated solutions
  • Troubleshoot problems arising on an ad-hoc basis and react to both the trading desk and client driven demands
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across the business unit
  • Assisting on any issues, and providing timely escalation to desk and operations senior management.


What you'll bring to the role:
  • University degree with operations experience in banks covering the Asia Pacific market;
  • Advanced aptitude to understand, utilize, and improve technology platforms
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
  • Ability to identify and escalate issues to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Detailed knowledge of industry structure, regulations and market development
  • At least 2 years ' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
