Business Information Analytics Researcher, Director
We're seeking someone to join our team as a Business Intelligence Analytics Researcher to undertake in-depth industry research and provide high-quality, real-time financial analytics assistance to internal clients, primarily investment bankers, in support of client projects.
In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley's workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients. This is a Director position within Business Information & Analytics, which specializes in providing and maintaining business information services for the Firm, including front-office research and analytics, data product management, management of data services, data storage, and conducting research related projects.

What you'll do in the role:
- Conduct Comprehensive and accurate Market Research. Utilize third-party vendors to gather accurate and insightful market data, supporting the decision-making processes of internal clients.
- Cultivate subject matter expertise in your aligned sector to provide informed insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal clients to interpret their requirements effectively, create innovative business solutions, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products.
- Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities for Business Information and Analytics (BIA) to enhance information gathering and synthesis for both new and existing clients.
- Utilize new tools and technologies, including automation and GenAI, to drive continuous improvement and optimization of our products and services.

- Client-focused with ability to anticipate needs, address clients' expectations, effectively manage priorities and cooperate to achieve objectives.
- An eagerness to learn and integrate emerging technologies into business processes, driving innovation and efficiency
- Native level Japanese and business level English. You will be comfortable speaking and writing in both languages in the workplace, conducting research bilingually and collaborating with global colleagues and clients on projects
- Strong oral and written communication skills, able to synthesize large volumes of information and clearly articulate complex ideas
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a comparable role
