Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Parametric's Centralized Business Enablement team ensures the smooth running of long-term and day-to-day business operations across the organization in alignment with policy. We work to optimize our business operations for consistency, efficiency, transparency, and strong governance, enabling Parametric's global growth. We work closely with internal stakeholders across Morgan Stanley, Investment Management and Parametric across all our global locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Enablement Manager will be an integral part of the Centralized Business Enablement team, collaborating with various business units and regions to identify, assess, and manage organizational risk. The Business Enablement Manage will contribute to developing and maintaining a scalable risk governance framework to support the firm's international operations.

This Mumbai-based role has global responsibilities and involves active collaboration with business, risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams across multiple locations and time zones.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Risk Management

  • Support the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Committee in addressing and resolving identified risks, incidents, or control deficiencies
  • Support the Trade Incident Review (TIR) process including management of the identification, assessment, escalation, and resolution of trade issues and potential trade errors across equity and fixed income strategies.
  • Work with India NFR committee to prepare updates to regional and global leadership teams.

Regulatory Compliance
  • Maintain an updated register of all applicable regulations relevant to Parametric's business activities
  • Evaluate the impact of new regulatory requirements on products, operations, and client services
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions on new or updated regulations, policies, and compliance requirements

Global Outsourcing Controls (GOC) Framework Adherence
  • Ensure outsourcing control documentation is current and compliant with company policy.
  • Coordinate with Global Outsourcing Controls (GOC), Compliance, and Legal teams to obtain timely approvals for process changes.
  • Organize governance meetings to ensure adherence to internal and external audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with risk management partners to ensure alignment on policies and share industry best practices.
  • Ensure all supervisory control documentation is complete and readily accessible.

Global Audit Support
  • Oversee coordination and preparation for internal and external audits and regulatory examinations.
  • Prepare and provide documentation for ad hoc requests from internal audit teams.
  • Track and monitor completion of audit deliverables.
  • Identify, document, and promptly communicate key risks and issues to relevant stakeholders.

Business Continuity & Incident Response
  • Participate in the Asia Business Continuity Program and serve as a Business Unit Coordinator for Parametric
  • Support business continuity testing and planning activities across Parametric departments.
  • Review and update business continuity plans for critical and non-critical functions in collaboration with the Parametric Resiliency team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during India business hours for planning, training, coordination, and tracking activities.
  • Assist leadership in conducting and evaluating local business continuity exercises.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience supporting business operations, including governance, operational risk, or business control activities, preferably within financial services.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex topics clearly to diverse stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and support process improvements with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and risk awareness
  • Strong organizational skills with a high degree of accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience working within governance and risk management frameworks, including issue identification, escalation, and follow-through
  • Collaborative, partnership-oriented approach to working with global and cross-functional teams Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities
  • Proactive in engaging with cross-regional stakeholders
