Associate - Fixed Income Operations

Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution Closing and funding of syndicated loans and bilateral loans, reviewing loan documents, managing loan amendments, settlement of trades, and ensuring accurate set up and booking of transactions in the firm's books and records. Risk management of the entire loan lifecycle which includes booking and monitoring of transactions, reviewing deal structures for operational compliance, new product approvals, preparation of reports and metrics as well as periodic updates of policies and procedures. Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values Knowledge of loan product and credit documentation. Experience in financial services operations, risk management and performing complex operational processes. Ability to drive change and improve efficiencies on the team and work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and willing to assume extended responsibility. Strong control mindset and excellent stakeholder/relationship management. LoanIQ experience is preferred. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
