Role Overview:
The Associate, Content Marketing will be a core member of the Firmwide Marketing organization, supporting the development, evaluation, and amplification of high-quality content that enables the Firm's ability to Lead with Exceptional Ideas. This role is designed for an experienced creative marketer with a strong foundation in advertising and marketing, who brings exceptional writing skills, sound creative judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:
> Write clear, strategic creative briefs rooted in business objectives, audience insights, messaging frameworks, and channel requirements.
> Evaluate messaging and creative in support of campaigns that appear across digital, social, paid and owned channels, ensuring alignment with brand standards, clarity of message, and effectiveness.
> Provide thoughtful, actionable feedback to internal teams and agency partners to elevate creative quality.
> Develop, edit, and refine high-quality copy across formats including campaign messaging, headlines, scripts, and short- and long-form content.
> Lead paid media trafficking responsibilities, including coordination and organization of creative assets, adherence to specifications, versioning, and delivery timelines in partnership with media and channel teams.
> Partner closely with Content, Brand, Social, Digital, Legal & Compliance, and external agencies to move work forward efficiently and compliantly.
> Navigate content reviews and approvals with Legal & Compliance to ensure adherence to firm policies and regulatory standards.

> Support project timelines, workflows, and handoffs to ensure campaigns and content initiatives are delivered on time and on brief.
> Collaborate with analytics and channel partners to review performance insights and apply learnings to future creative and messaging.

Requirements:

> Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in creative advertising and marketing, with agency or in-house agency background preferred.
> Experience working in financial services and highly regulated environments preferred.
> Proficient in social media best practices, with an emphasis on video and video promotion.
> Demonstrated ability to write strong creative briefs and evaluate creative work for organic and paid media campaigns.
> Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with strong attention to detail.
> Experience with Canva and other creative tools is a plus
> Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally in complex organizations.
> Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
> Experience using Canva or similar creative and AI enabled tools to support efficient content creation, iteration, and collaboration is a plus.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $105,000 per year at

the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
