We're seeking someone to join our Asset Services RPE team as a Associate role in RELIABILITY & PROD ENGINEERING Super Dept]
to Facilitate production support along with SRE practices.

This is a Software Production Management& Reliability engineering II position at Associate level, which is part of the job family responsible for supporting production environment.

What you'll do in the role:
- Contribute to the function through a range of operational activities and project tasks, developing an understanding of the business and operating environment.
> 50:50 split of production support and SRE tasks.
> Serve as liaison between support and development, driving first-touch resolution and minimizing handoffs.
> Provide daily operational support for Operations platforms and users, ensuring stability and responsiveness.
> Diagnose and resolve complex issues across distributed Unix environments, and databases.

> Lead and coordinate critical incident management with timely, clear stakeholder communication.
> Engineer automation, monitoring, and observability enhancements to eliminate manual toil and improve MTTR. Required experience:
- Ability to engage with the broader team, communicate goals, tasks and deliverables in 1-1 and team meetings.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Expertise in analyzing, debugging and troubleshooting large-scale distributed applications across multiple layers, i.e. software, Infrastructure and database.

- Software programming experience in any languages like Python, Perl, Java Script .
- Creating stored procedures and optimising SQL in Sybase or DB2.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.

Desired :
- Experience managing, deploying, and troubleshooting, large scale production environments
- Any experience in enterprise monitoring or cloud observability is highly valuable using tools like Prometheus, Graphana, etc.
- Experience of using and configuring DevOps tooling and Terraform or equivalent.
- Experience instrumenting application services end point for logging, metrics and events. Should be familiar with design observability principles.
