Designer - WBC (Seasonal)
The Designer, World Baseball Classic assists and produces graphic design initiatives in conjunction with appropriate World Baseball Classic requests and consistent with their marketing plans.
Responsibilities
- Sales promotion and presentation materials
- Venue ballpark graphics
- Communication and collateral materials
- Logo and style guide development
- Exhibit environmental design
- Retail marketing and point-of-purchase design
Create design solutions, including:
- Venue mock-ups for design evaluation and sponsor integration
- Tickets, invitations, and collateral materials
- Creation and production of graphic standards
- Sponsor logo composites
- Graphic templates
- Photo editing - pre and post production work
Assist in the development of creative event management:
- Evaluation of creative executions
- Design inspiration boards
- Creation of creative communication presentation materials (i.e. concept boards, product comps, and presentation decks)
- Design direction to outside supplies and vendors
- Budget and timeline management

Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related discipline. Graduate degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years’ graphic design experience
- Understanding of graphic design, post production, and printing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiar with PowerPoint/Keynote, Word, and Excel
Salary Range: $62,000 - $67,500
The actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.
