Technical Program Manager, Reality AI
Within XR Tech we are building experiences for all realities - Augmented or Virtual, for billions of users across the globe. Our mission is to enable the Metaverse and Wearables product groups to grow a thriving ecosystem built for AI-powered spatial computers that is an indispensable part of people's everyday lives, so much so that people will have a hard time imagining a world without it.Our team is expanding and we're looking for an experienced Technical Program Managers (TPM) who will play a key role in defining and driving highly complex, cross-functional features in the CoreAI space. We are looking for TPMs with a proven track record of developing and shipping high quality experiences used in our products. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with world-class development teams and leaders across the organization to lead complex, high-impact AI programs spanning from early-stage research to applied AI solutions that ship across all our new Meta products like Ray-Ban Meta and Quest devices. This opportunity will span across technologies like Computer Vision, Computational Photography, Speech processing and LLMs to create experiences that engage billions of people.

Technical Program Manager, Reality AI Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute large-scale, cross-functional AI technical programs from research through production deployment, ensuring alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders within Reality Labs
- Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, requires managing multiple cross organization or cross company interdependencies
- Drive program strategy and roadmap for CoreAI initiatives, identifying risks and dependencies, and proactively mitigating them
- Drive visibility, accountability, and execution across their areas of software development for the organization
- Communicate program status, challenges, and outcomes clearly to technical and executive audiences
- Collaborate with AI research, engineering, product management, and infrastructure teams to deliver new AI technologies at scale
- Influence technical strategy and foster innovation and continuous improvement within the CoreAI team and Reality Labs
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or engineering leadership, with a focus on AI or machine learning programs
- Demonstrated extensive experience to lead execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with experience to make technical and product tradeoffs balancing business needs and technical constraints
- Proven communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa, with expertise communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience of understanding of AI/ML technologies, research-to-production workflows, and distributed systems
- Leadership skills with experience influencing technical strategy and driving alignment across large organizations
- Proven track record of success in stakeholder and executive communications, and ability to distill complex AI concepts for broad audiences
- Experience in delivering technical programs or products - preferably related to Consumer HW products

$167,000/year to $230,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
