The Global Response Operations organization within Global Operations is dedicated to responding to real-time crises, proactively identifying and evaluating emerging risks, and conducting risk-related investigations to benefit our community. By consistently managing incidents and crises to resolution, the team drives continuous improvement in partnership with groups across Meta.As the operational devision of Meta's Trust and Safety efforts, the Specialized Enforcement Operations (SEO) team tackles high-priority, complex, or regulatory enforcement challenges that require specialized operational support. This includes leveraging local knowledge, policy expertise, and language insights-going beyond what standard systems or scaled solutions can provide. The SEO team is flexible and agile, able to deploy enforcement expertise to shifting priorities and dynamic situations, always bringing the necessary local context and functional skills.We are seeking a solutions-oriented, data-savvy Market Specialist who is passionate about providing a high quality support experience for our community of users and advertisers. In this role, you will work with the Europe team to review and enforce on content reported for potential abuse, resolve user account issues, and improve the overall support experience for the region. You will also address enforcement issues across a wide range of Meta markets, collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure the best possible experience for users on our platforms.As part of a data-driven analysis environment, you will help protect our communities by enforcing policies, optimizing and automating processes, solving challenging problems, preventing future issues, and scaling our operations to meet evolving needs.

SEO Europe - Market Specialist (Greek, UK & Ireland) Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Europe team, enforcing on crisis response within the region
- Work as part of an On-call Operational structure to enforce on critical content within SEO Markets with a higher focus on the Greek and UKIA (UK & Ireland) Markets
- Use a combination of language and market geopolitical knowledge, and sensitivity to social norms and minority community perspectives to capture signals and insights, enabling effective enforcement and resolution of complex risk and operational issues within the region
- Scope scalable solutions to improve the support of our community of users in the market and in partnership with other regions
- Investigate and resolve issues that are reported on Meta products, such as requests for account support and reports of potentially abusive content including but not limited to graphic images, videos and writings, offensive or derogatory language, and other objectionable material
- Support enforcement efforts on agnostic content that originates from multiple sources globally, where language expertise is not required
- Support enforcement efforts identifying integrity risks to our local and regional advertising business and enforce on these risks
- Support region wide programs of work supporting peak season buying initiatives, protecting advertisers, businesses and removing friction in the ad delivery process
- Analyze key metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve our processes and tools
- Build subject matter expertise around abuse areas prevalent in the region and work with the team on enforcement efforts to manage and control impacts
- Investigate emerging risk across the region and influence cross functional resolution. Provide input and support on policy recommendations using geopolitical as well as operational understanding with XFN partners
- Liaise closely with our Meta vendor teams to ensure all operational KPIs meet and exceed targets and work collaboratively to improve processes and tools and scale solutions
- Remain up to date on key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates and our Community Standards
- Support the training and onboarding of Meta partners
- This role may involve exposure to potentially graphic and/or objectionable content including but not limited to graphic images, videos, audio and text, offensive or derogatory language, and other potential objectionable material, i.e. child exploitation, graphic violence, self-injury, animal abuse, and other content which may be considered offensive or disturbing
- Fluency in Greek and English is essential as this role will involve working on issues in these languages as well as dealing with external clients in that market
- 1+ years of professional experience within an operations environment
- Experience communicating with a variety of audiences and stakeholders from the Greek and UKIA (UK & Ireland) markets
- Solid communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
- Can work with graphic and/or objectionable content
- Proven experience with SQL for data analysis, reporting, and process optimization
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance operational efficiency and solve complex problems
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, preferably within trust and safety, risk operations, or regulatory enforcement
