Business Marketing Strategy and Planning Lead, North America

We are seeking an experienced strategic marketing leader to join Meta's North America Large Advertiser Audience Marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for annual planning, strategy development, marketing operations, rhythm of business reporting, and high priority marketing initiatives. The Strategy and Planning team connects advertiser jobs to be done, Meta product goals, business objectives, and regional sales needs in order to build customer-centric and measurable marketing plans. This individual will need to maintain robust knowledge of Meta's customers, business, products, global strategic marketing plans, and strategic priorities that touch North America Large advertisers. This is a highly collaborative role requiring collaboration across Global Marketing, Data Science, Sales, Scaled Marketing, Content, and Product Teams.

Business Marketing Strategy and Planning Lead, North America Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Lead the development of marketing strategic plans that align business objectives, product goals, and large advertiser needs. Support goal setting, resource allocation, learning agenda creation, and investment prioritization
  • Marketing Operations: Manage delivery of quarterly reviews and executive updates, including coordinating rhythm of business (RoB) activities and optimize day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Lead high-priority, complex projects that require cross-team collaboration in areas such as incrementality measurement and artificial intelligence
  • Budget and Forecasting: Manage the marketing budget, including forecasting, spend, trade-off decisions, and return on investment
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics to inform strategic decisions and identify new opportunities
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing strategy, business operations, or management consulting
  • Demonstrated experience in data analytics, leveraging quantitative and qualitative information to drive marketing decisions
  • Proven leadership of strategic planning, budgeting, and cross-functional projects in a complex organization
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of digitally advanced businesses
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and distilling insights into actionable strategy
  • Highly organized, analytical, and adaptable while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated experience influencing and align executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with product teams to align marketing efforts with overall product goals
  • Demonstrated experience in using Meta products
  • Experience in a leadership role in management consulting, corporate strategy, or marketing operations

$150,000/year to $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
