Asset Management Operations Manager
Meta is seeking an experienced Asset Management Operations Manager to support critical activities and asset lifecycle management of infrastructure hardware including data centers, points-of-presence, integrators, warehouses, third-party vendors, and other discrete locations. The Asset Management Services team is chartered with the critical mission to establish, standardize, and improve processes coupled with sufficient controls in an evolving environment. Programs include enabling new products, teams, vendors, locations, and business operations related to life-cycle management. Operations management activities involve continuous stakeholder Management and support, key performance indicator (KPI) management, and developing and executing roadmaps.
Asset Management Operations Manager Responsibilities:
- Closely collaborate and support cross-functional teams-including business lines, new product teams, Data Center Site Operations, Sourcing, Accounting, Finance, SOX compliance, Trade Compliance, and Tax-to develop and oversee logistics/asset management business processes in a global environment to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Execute physical and logical audits for Meta's infrastructure asset base for Meta's infrastructure asset base. This position will require up to 25% -30% travel throughout the U.S. and International Locations
- Execute the first line of defense control testing and audits Conduct fieldwork, including observations, assessments, and testing of controls, to identify and document audit findings, such as deficiencies, weaknesses, and areas for improvement
- Identify and assess ongoing and emerging risks, see and solve technical problems in a meaningful and credible way, research and develop approaches to new solutions, understanding the spectrum of cross-functional requirements, build short- and long-term roadmaps supporting business and operational needs, optimized for our operating environment and build alignment with cross-functional partners
- Develop and maintain audit plans and checklists to ensure comprehensive coverage, and present reports with corrective recommendations to stakeholders
- Develop or improve decentralized policies, standards, processes and workflows, controls, and tooling needs to support emerging operational requirements focusing on accountability, standardization, scale, and efficiency
- Conduct design reviews of proposed automation and process efficiencies against business goals, operations governance, data integrity, and compliance
- Establish appropriate KPIs to measure process performance and identify process improvement opportunities
- Maintain data integrity across multiple systems, identify root causes of, resolve, data inconsistencies and leverage data to identify new requirements
- Develop required process documentation for implementation and rollout of business process improvements
- Support implementation of broader technology solutions and process automations efforts to improve organizational efficiency and associated controls
- BA/BS degree in Accounting, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of work experience in accounting, auditing (internal or external), asset management, or other relevant work
- Full understanding of procure-to-pay and its impacts to receiving, asset life-cycle management, compliance and product lifecycle management processes
- Understanding of inventory management, transportation, tax, and trade compliance
- Experience designing end-to-end processes that scale, particularly with respect to supply chain management and logistics
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement logistics/business processes in a global environment
- Experience in data collection and data analysis
- Analytical and problem-solving experience
- Broad, practical experience using a variety of productivity software products (Google Suite, Microsoft 365, etc)
- Willingness to travel internationally and within the United States
- MBA or MS in Accounting
- IAITAM Certification / ITIL Certification
- Experience with audit execution (as auditor or subject audited)
- Data center logistics experience
- Data center hardware knowledge
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and defining/influencing success metrics
- Experience using ERP, inventory management tools, CRM
- Experience being organized and detail-oriented
- Experience being collaborative and team-oriented
- Experience with large scale, complex projects involving multiple cross-functional teams

$115,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
