Meta Wearables is looking for an Art Director to join the Product Creative team. Product Creative uses artistic and technical skills to create the vision and experiences that make Meta Wearables trend-setting, distinct, and loved by customers.We're looking for an Art Director who is excited to develop beautiful, beloved products and bring them to life with art direction and design that makes the technical feel human and authentic.The Art Director will be responsible for conceptual thinking, storytelling, and visualizing their ideas from concept to launch by working across several mediums.
Art Director | Wearables Product Creative Responsibilities:
- Concept, design, visualize, and art direct brand and product expressions across all mediums, including mobile, on devices, interactive, and others
- Use conceptual ideas, design, visuals, and art direction to tell stories on behalf of the brand and within our products
- Present clear and focused ideas that build consensus within the team
- Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, with creative directors, product designers, program managers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and more
- Identify new opportunities and self-manage multiple projects with little direction
- Create original, breakthrough work that raises the bar for craft and quality
- Translate requirements and feedback from stakeholders into easily accessible creative concepts

- 7+ years of experience concepting and art directing ideas for brand and product
- Demonstrated experience working on a product team
- Experience designing, art directing and communicating design decisions
- Experience bringing ideas to life with high quality visuals or prototypes using creative software and other tools
- Experience in pursuing and developing work using emerging technologies, such as hardware, augmented reality, and virtual reality

$149,000/year to $205,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
