Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.
Process Overview
Reporting and accounting for Global Banking and Markets for APAC,EMEA and AMRS Regions. Primarily includes Monthly Financial Packs, Daily Weekly P&L, Expense analysis and Reporting, Expense forecast, Balance Sheet and Trend reporting, Competitor analysis, pre-IR packs, actual v/s forecast analysis and journal postings. Team uses Tableau and Alteryx for Data Management and reporting. Developing, testing, deploying and related governance of emerging tech solutions using any of the tools/but not just limited to Alteryx, Tableau, etc. Team also works on few regulatory reporting as per timelines provided by SEC/External regulators. Team is also involved in Planning & Forecasting cycle on quarterly basis. The capabilities hosted include Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Trade Processing & settlement, Inventory Management, Cash Management, Asset Services, Collateral Management, Reconciliation, Client & Product Data.

Job Description
We are looking for a proactive, control focused and analytically strong individual, to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. The current vacancy is for an associate to be actively involved in all financial reporting, analysis and forecasting for the FPA Global Markets Team.
The role is within the Global Markets FP&A team which has overall responsibility for the financials support and analysis. Team works closely with business partners based in International Locations and regular contact with our finance partners in the APAC & EMEA Regions. The team is part of the wider Support FP&A group which provides financial support and analysis across many functions, including Operations, Technology, Corporate Services, Real Estate and Staff Support (e.g., Finance, Corporate workplace, Risk, Legal etc.).
Responsibilities
- Performing Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and commentary with subject matter expert knowledge,
- Complete Finance Packs and walk through Business/Onshore partners on the same,
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, managing time and deliverables' quality,
- Lead month-end close and all other associated management reporting,
- Manage projects, ad-hoc requests and simplification and standardization efforts,
- Lead and influence the matrix that supports business strategic direction for the team,
- Work on business decision support with Senior Business Leaders end to end without any overview,
- Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems,
- Dynamic individual, able to discuss, analyze and infer on the financials and come up with quality analysis,
- Co-ordinate with the business to resolve process bottlenecks at different levels,
- Partner closely with stakeholders LOB (as needed) to support reporting routines.
Requirements
Education
CA/ICWA/CS/CFA/MBA Finance/PG in Finance from reputed university
Certifications If Any
Experience Range
6-8 years of relevant experience in Reporting/Accounting domain in MNC environment.
- Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx is an added advantage
Foundational skills
- Financial Planning & Analysis and Management Reporting experience is a must
- Working Knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting
- Knowledge of Essbase SmartView and other Oracle based platforms
- Operational excellence mindset
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment such as lack of well-defined procedures and changing work mix
- Ability to independently communicate with senior leaders in the business
