Position Overview

As we expand into new specialties and look to accelerate our growth, we seek a dynamic and growth-oriented Vice President, Account Management to lead and scale our customer engagement strategy and operations. This executive will collaborate with other operational teams and oversee new customer integration, account management, and business growth, ensuring that our customers experience seamless integration, sustained success, and long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Onboarding: In collaboration with the clinical and onboarding team, oversee new customer onboarding process that ensures a smooth transition for new partners, integrating best practices for clinical and operational excellence.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with infusion center partners, ensuring their ongoing success through proactive engagement and performance optimization.
  • Growth and Retention: Drive revenue growth by identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts, improving service offerings, and developing tailored solutions that enhance provider satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Collaborate cross-functionally to refine workflows, improve service efficiency, and address customer pain points with innovative solutions.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track KPIs for customer success, ensuring data-driven insights guide continuous improvement efforts.
  • Leadership and Development: Lead a high-performing customer success team, fostering a culture of collaboration, responsiveness, and customer advocacy.
  • Customer Engagement & Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted consultant for clients, attending Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other key meetings to provide strategic insights on revenue cycle performance, reimbursement optimization, and payer trends. Build strong relationships with customers by proactively addressing financial challenges and aligning solutions with their operational and clinical needs.

Minimum Requirement

  • Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 12+ years of professional experience and 4+ years of management experience.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, healthcare administration, or a related field (MBA or MHA preferred).

Critical Skills

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in provider account management and operations, preferably in infusion, specialty pharmacy, or oncology settings.
  • 4+ Years strong leadership skills with experience managing large teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Expertise in payer contracting, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare finance.
  • Deep understanding of compliance (CMS, HIPAA, Stark Law, etc.) and regulatory considerations in infusion services.
  • Ability to drive business growth through customer-centric solutions and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven leadership experience in customer success, account management, or healthcare operations, preferably in infusion therapy, oncology, or multi-specialty practice management.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Travel

Travel up to 50%.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.  In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
