We are looking for a senior, hands-on product manager to own and evolve Maven's provider payments, claims-based billing, payer integrations, and clinic experience, the systems and workflows that power how clinic partners, providers, health plan partners, and Maven transact, exchange claims data, reconcile payments, and operate together at scale.
You will sit at the intersection of provider operations, payments infrastructure, payer integrations, and partner relationships, from provider payment workflows and payment reconciliation to claims submission, 835 remittance processing, payer integrations that connect Maven's financial infrastructure to health plan partners, and clinic portal enhancements that make Maven turnkey for fertility networks and clinic partnerships.

This role spans technical depth and financial accountability. Maven processes significant payment volume through systems that require audit-ready accuracy and transparency. You will own the transition from manual to programmatic payment reconciliation, drive claims-based billing readiness (including care management fees as claims, gating significant revenue), ensure payer integrations scale reliably, and build the clinic experience that gives partners real-time visibility into claims status, payments, and reconciliation.
You'll work in close coordination with a peer PM who owns the member-side benefits platform, AI-driven adjudication, and the core ledger migration. Clear scope boundaries matter: you own provider-side, clinic-facing, reconciliation, claims billing, and payer integration surfaces. Together you'll ensure Maven's financial infrastructure evolves coherently.
You'll partner with engineering, operations, finance, treasury, clinic partnerships, payer partnerships, and analytics to build systems that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and make Maven easy for providers, clinics, and payers to work with. AI is central to how you build and what you build, from automating reconciliation and anomaly detection to powering intelligent provider-facing tools.
This is an Individual Contributor (IC) role focused on strong execution, cross-functional partnership, and driving outcomes through influence.
As Senior Product Manager, Payments, Claims, Payer Integrations & Clinic Experience at Maven, you will:
- Own the payments and clinic experience product area: provider payment workflows, payment reconciliation, clinic portal enhancements, claims acceptance from clinic partners, 835 remittance generation, and provider-facing financial operations
- Own payment reconciliation end-to-end: bank file ingestion, automated matching of payer payments to adjudicated claims, exception handling, and downstream billing triggers. Drive the transition from manual to programmatic reconciliation at significant volume
- Own claims-based billing: claim generation, submission, remittance processing, payer claim lifecycle management, and CMAC (care management fees as claims) operational readiness, with specific payer pilot and rollout timelines
- Own and evolve payer integration touchpoints adjacent to claims and payments, including coordination of benefits (COB), insurance discovery, and payer channels, partnering with Benefits & Payments and Eligibility teams
- Build and improve the clinic portal experience, ensuring clinic partners have visibility into claims status, payments, and reconciliation without manual intervention or escalation
- Drive AI integration into payment and claims workflows, automating reconciliation, anomaly detection, and reducing manual operational burden
- Build operational visibility: ensure payment status, claims processing, reconciliation outcomes, and remittance data are instrumented, logged, and accessible to ops teams without engineering intervention
- Translate complex payment, claims, and remittance requirements (EDI 835, provider payment terms, reconciliation rules) into clear product requirements and scalable system designs
- Partner with finance and treasury teams on payment accuracy, audit readiness, and financial reconciliation
- Coordinate with the Benefits & Payments PM on shared infrastructure, ensuring provider-side and member-side payment systems evolve coherently during a major platform migration
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, with hands-on ownership of products involving payments, claims processing, payment reconciliation, or financial operations in a healthcare or fintech context. Healthcare experience strongly preferred
- Direct experience with provider payment systems, claims processing, remittance (835s), or payment reconciliation, matching payments to claims, bank file processing, or financial operations where accuracy and auditability are non-negotiable
- Experience managing financial systems at scale where errors have real dollar consequences, including building for audit readiness and financial transparency
- Comfort working with technical integration challenges, APIs, EDI formats, payment processing systems, cross-system reconciliation, and communicating clearly with engineering and operations partners
- Experience with payer-facing integrations, health plan data exchanges, coordination of benefits, or payer contracting workflows is a plus
- Experience building or improving B2B-facing portals, partner tools, or operational dashboards that serve external users (providers, clinics, partners)
- Strong operational instincts. You understand that payment accuracy, timeliness, and transparency are table stakes for partner trust, and you build systems that surface problems before they become escalations
- Experience partnering with finance, treasury, or payment integrity teams on reconciliation, audit, or compliance
- Excited about AI as both a product capability and a development accelerator. You use AI tools in your own work and think about how AI changes the products you build
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and effective in fast-moving environments where you need to balance partner needs, operational reliability, and platform investment
The base salary range for this role is $190,000 - $220,000 per year. You will also be entitled to receive equity and benefits. Individual pay decisions are based on qualifications, experience, and skillset.
