The Sr. Consumer Products Associate LATAM will support the development, management, and growth of Mattel's licensing business in Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. This role is responsible for managing relationships with licensees and retail partners, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, driving category expansion, and maximizing licensing revenues. The position requires strong commercial acumen, partner management skills, and the ability to coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to deliver results aligned with Mattel's Consumer Products strategy.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Detection of white spaces in categories hand in hand with Assoc Manager, with the focus on strategic development of categories, and collaborate closely with the members of the area focused on commercial relations. 
  • Creation of documents for control, review of commercial negotiations (sufficiency plans).
  • Support in control and follow up of area budget for marketing or POS activities.
  • Creation, follow-up and reporting of FCST/Actuals of the area, together with the commercial relations people and Assoc Manager. 
  • Control of accounts receivable to our licensees accompanying the global collections team.
  • Manage and grow licensing partnerships across designated categories and markets (Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean).

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or related field.
  • 3 years Experience in opportunity detection, control and order, KPIS tracking, projections, budgets, etc.
  • English Proficient
  • Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
  • Solid commercial and negotiation skills.
