Reporting to the Senior Privacy Specialist, the Junior Privacy Program Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the Privacy Office’s operations, helping to manage privacy reviews, generate metrics and insights, and help maintain core compliance documentation. This role combines project management, analytical skills, and privacy program administration to ensure that privacy governance processes are efficient, measurable, and compliant.

Job Description

The role performs in-depth financial analysis related to promotional activities, customer onboarding, and
commercial modifications, leveraging P&L impact assessments to evaluate profitability, optimize performance,
and support Sales strategy. Acting as a finance business partner, the position works closely with Sales and
cross-functional teams to translate commercial initiatives into clear financial insights and recommendations.

What You’ll Do
• Analyze promotional activities to deliver actionable insights that support Sales strategy, performance
optimization, and decision-making.
• Analyze and manage financial reserves, including the review and release of prior-year reserves, ensuring
alignment with corporate guidelines and supporting financial planning processes.
• Analyze and support new customer onboarding and commercial modifications through detailed P&L impact
analysis, ensuring profitability and alignment with financial objectives.
• Review and analysis of balance sheet reserves to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial guidelines.
• Assess various financial scenarios to aid in strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Act as a finance business partner to local teams and the Sales organization, providing financial insight,
analysis, and decision-making support.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with local teams, promoting best practices, effective communication, and
alignment with Mattel’s values.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce
operational and financial risk.
• Provide support to finance processes across LATAM, ensuring consistency and alignment with regional
standards.

Qualifications

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree Finance or similar
• 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the consumer goods industry or a related field.
• Looking for a detail-oriented Sr Analyst to join our Sales Finance team.
• The ideal candidate will play a key role in financial planning and analysis, variance analysis, and collaboration
across multiple departments.
• This position is crucial for providing insights that drive strategic decision-making in the business.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with Oracle System is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and synthesize insights for business
strategies.
• Advanced english reporting methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in process standardization and finance transformation initiatives.
