This is a Buyer / Senior Buyer Supervisor role in Indirect Procurement within the Global Procurement Team at Mattel. The role offers the opportunity to work with regional and global stakeholders while driving procurement excellence in a world-class manufacturing environment. You will lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned indirect procurement categories, develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and global procurement policies, and identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve the best value in quality, cost, delivery, service, and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned indirect procurement categories

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives and global procurement policies

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers to achieve the best value in quality, cost, delivery, service, and sustainability

• Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, contracts, payment terms, and long-term supplier agreements

• Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, EHS, and Global Procurement teams

• Drive cost reduction, Value Engineering (VE), productivity improvement, and risk mitigation projects

• Support CAPEX projects and new supplier development initiatives

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and corporate Code of Conduct

• Analyze procurement data and prepare KPI reports to support business decisions

คุณสมบัติ

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields

• 5–8 years of procurement experience in a multinational manufacturing environment

• Strong background in Strategic Sourcing

• Strong background in Supplier Relationship Management

• Strong background in Contract Negotiation

• Strong background in Cost Optimization

• Experience in Indirect Procurement, Engineering Procurement, or CAPEX Purchasing is highly preferred

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier performance management, and contract management

• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
