Job description
Our North America sales organization is seeking to build a diverse, strategic and consultative workforce of world-class relationship managers, problem-solvers, and technologists. We are looking for an Account Manager to join our team as an individual contributor who can drive value for a large National Account.
This position is specifically responsible for thought leadership and solution innovation, focused on Consumer, Small & Business Banking at a large National Account. The account manager will be responsible for driving market share and revenue growth for Mastercard through effective consultative sales, requiring you to provide consistent thought leadership on Consumer and Small Business space. You will need to collaborate with colleagues across the Mastercard franchise to deliver bottom line results for our customer and Mastercard.

Responsibilities
• Contributes to the achievement of sales and net revenue targets
• Collaborates across the team to identify and drives new solutions to bring to the customer, that will best serve needs.
• Conducts informational research on competitors and potential partners that are relevant to identify key trends and propose strategic opportunities for the brand and the business
• Contributes to the delivery of integrated solutions that address customer needs
• Assists with analysis of market and customer's business through competitive and portfolio performance analysis
• Assists in designing strategies, messaging and presentations for customers
Experiences
• Comprehensive experience executing and delivering new, innovative solutions and thought leadership
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of MasterCard's core products, and services
• Demonstrated project management and execution skills with strong ability to manage deliverables and deadlines for multiple initiatives and teams
• Proven skills in relationship management and managing multiple stakeholders with professionalism and maturity
• Superior written and oral communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix organization
• Results driver, with flexible "can do" perspective and strong interest in serving our customers
• Deep knowledge of the card and payments industry, with particular emphasis on debit (consumer and small business) as well as other money movements solutions, including bill pay and remittances.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
