Reporting to the Global ERP CoE Plan To Fulfill Director, Global ERP CoE Source To Pay Senior Lead provides functional and technical expertise for the area as part of the Digital Core Program. The role's primary responsibility is the development and maintenance of system functionalities to support business processes, mainly in our SAP S/4HANA environment, but not restricted to it, with a specific focus on enhancing our direct procurement processes. He/She will collaborate closely with Enterprise Technologies, Global Digital Operations and the Digital Core teams in Shared Template, Petcare, including Royal Canin and Food. This role will guarantee Mars Snacking will respect the principles of design and maintenance of a clean digital core, while securing a fit for value solution that will support the Mars Snacking Digital Core vision and value generation opportunities.
What will be your responsibilities?
Solution Development
- Lead the development of new functionalities and enhancements aligned with corporate & segment strategies, with a primary focus on Direct Procurement.
- Participate and facilitate workshops to gather functional and technical requirements
- Partner with the Mars Snacking process team to ensure the functional requirements are well documented and converted in IT requirements.
- Design high-quality solutions that meet business needs and improve operational efficiency

- Provide technical leadership over the E2E directs processes across all Digital Core scope to ensure edge systems are fit for purpose and well-integrated with S/4 Snacking processes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Analyse the business and systems impact of new functionalities and plan detailed tasks required to deliver a fully tested solution.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to SAP S/4HANA and Direct Procurement to drive continuous improvement, including but not restricted to SCC (Supply Chain Collaboration) and other supplier collaboration tools, including the ones for External Manufacturing.
Project Management
- Oversee project timelines and deliverables for the area, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
- Support the Mars Snacking deployment team in implementing the solution on a large scale.
- Budget management for the direct and indirect staff engaged in the transformation activities for the area.
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with Enterprise Technologies, Global Digital Operations, Shared Template, Petcare including Royal Canin and Food Digital Core teams to secure fit-for-purpose design of the enterprise and Snacking SAP S/4 ERP platforms.
- Collaborate with other digital core leaders in Mars Snacking (Internal and External Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality/R&D, Planning, Finance, Lead To Cash, Data, Architecture) to ensure effective integration between ERP and Edge systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
- Support regional transformation deployment of new global capabilities.
Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, configurations, and processes.
- Ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant teams.
Line Management
- 3rd party management for the SAP S/4 ERP System Integrator for the area.
What are we looking for?
- Proven technical knowledge of large scale / global ERP environments.
- Proven previous experience leading ERP implementations at large scale CPG/pharma companies.
- 5+ years leading ERP Direct Procurement/Materials Management areas and implementations.
- Experience in line managing distributed teams of Associates plus Tier 1 extended partners.
- Familiar with integration points for the area: planning, internal and external manufacturing and quality standards
- Experience in Dev/Ops tooling and capabilities.
- Stakeholder relationship skills, having worked directly with senior IT leadership teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related business area
- Previous experience in managing budgets.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
The pay range shown is applicable to all locations listed within the job posting:USD 133,067.00 - USD 182,958.00
