Digital Shelf Analytics Lead | hybrid | Guararema

The Digital Shelf Analytics Lead is responsible for building analytics capabilities, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance. This role is pivotal in developing a "closed loop" analytics process, turning data from the Digital Shelf into decisive actions that enhance our product experience and digital growth.

Acting as a strategic partner to the PXM, Marketing, and Digital Commerce teams, the jobholder will use insights to identify opportunities and recommend actions that improve product visibility, conversion, and overall performance. By ensuring our strategies are data-driven, this role plays a critical part in helping our brands win on the Digital Shelf and Perfect Digital Store (PDS) initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

The Digital Shelf Analytics Lead will be responsible for dashboards, analytics, insights generation, and capability building:

  • Develop & Scale Analytics: Design, develop, and scale our Digital Shelf Analytics capabilities. Create and maintain intuitive dashboards (primarily in Power BI) that provide clear visibility into key performance indicators (e.g., availability, content quality scores, share of search, pricing, ratings & reviews).
  • Generate Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into strategic recommendations. Proactively identify trends, competitive threats, and opportunities on the Digital Shelf and Perfect Digital Store, including new product introductions and promotional activities.
  • Drive Closed-Loop Execution: Partner with the PXM and technology teams to create and refine "closed-loop" processes, ensuring that insights from analytics are seamlessly integrated into our PIM (Salsify) and other platforms to enable rapid updates and optimization.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Work closely with the PXM Community, Marketing, Digital Commerce, and Sales teams to understand their priorities and deliver insights that support superior decision-making and drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Standardize & Govern KPIs: Define, standardize, and govern the key metrics for measuring digital shelf performance across all markets, ensuring alignment with our global analytics framework and the "Perfect Digital Store" program.
  • Leverage Multiple Data Sources: Integrate data from various sources, including Digital Shelf Analytics (DSA) solutions, retailer platforms, and internal systems, to build a cohesive and comprehensive view of our digital performance.
  • Inform Retail Media Strategy: Utilize DSA insights on competitor strategy and search positioning to partner with marketing teams, informing and optimizing retail media ad purchases and campaign strategies.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance our analytics solutions by automating reporting, introducing new metrics, and exploring emerging capabilities like AI-driven analytics and sentiment analysis on consumer reviews.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or digital analytics roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (dashboard development, data modeling, visualization, best practices)
  • Relevant experience working with Digital Shelf Analytics solutions such as Salsify Automated Insights (preferred), e.fundamentals, NielsenIQ, Profitero, PriceSpider.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights and recommendations
  • Familiarity with developing "closed-loop" processes that connect analytics insights into action within PIM or marketing automation systems
  • Stakeholder management and the ability to influence decision-making through data
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional environments

Nice to Have / Additional Skills

  • Experience with PXM/PIM platforms (e.g., Salsify)
  • Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, or data integration concepts
  • Familiarity with data storytelling and visualization best practices
  • Experience with automation and AI-driven analytics
  • Understanding of MarTech and eCommerce ecosystems
