Digital Platform Cloud Architect (Paas)

Job Description:

As an active member in the Digital Platform Development team (part of Business Delivery Services) the job holder's focus is to design (with the Architect's support) and deliver (Through himself and various teams) Cloud & infrastructure platforms world class solutions. You will evolve around an ecosystem based on: Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service over different Cloud providers, and of course, on an on-premises environment too

What are we looking for?

• 4-8 years Cloud Architecture designing solutions over the IaaS & PaaS world, enterprise-class applications infrastructure in all types of environments
• Strong Infrastructure, technical skills, and Cloud capabilities (Windows, Oracle, Azure, AWS, GCP, IaaS, PaaS & other technologies)
• Certifications in project management methodologies, network knowledge, or IOT experience are a plus
• Language: Fluent in English, verbal and written (Mandatory)
• Proven leadership and influencing experience through interaction with key stakeholders
• Proven experience in the architecture of enterprise application platforms
• Experience working in an international environment. Ability to work effectively in a flexible and changing environment, manage multiple activities and priorities, and work well under pressure

• Interact as the entry point for our customers to understand their requirements. Design infrastructure solutions over a multi-cloud (AZURE, GCP, AWS) IaaS, PaaS, and on-premises ecosystems
• Challenge and influence the project manager/director to align cloud & infrastructure solution design within our strategies and standards
• Work together within the team and with other stakeholders like Senior Architects / Security/infrastructure experts to define the design of the solutions based on the customer needs
• Create and own project plan to get the infrastructure delivered (End-to-End infrastructure delivery) • Provide estimations for resources, time, and cost needed for the project demand to the customer
• Manage risks that might impact the project or Mars business operations
• Keep communication active with all layers of stakeholders involved
• Lead development/implementation teams on project activities. Ensure adherence to Mars processes, standards, and the Infrastructure Strategy for development and implementation
• Follow up, organize & align cloud/infrastructure project plan with customer and IT project manager. Be accountable for project deliverables, ensuring the project is completed with the agreed scope, quality, on time, and on budget
• Be accountable for his projects, Documentation storage, and sharing.
• Driving knowledge sharing over the other associates and contractors. Supervision of 2 to 10 contractors, on shore, near shore, or offshore, who can be located anywhere in the world (US, China, Brazil, EU, India, ...)
