The Role
The Associate Sales Relationship Manager role is a data-driven, developmental role supporting the build-out of the EU RFQ Hub business. With clear progression and growth in mind, this opportunity will have an initial emphasis is on learning our product, analytics, reporting, onboarding support, and shadowing senior coverage, and build towards independent dealer ownership and desk coverage. You would be joining a fast‑growing sales team at the heart of Europe’s electronic fixed income markets. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in scaling MarketAxess’ RFQ Hub business across Europe - working closely with dealers, senior sales leaders, Product, and Technology to drive adoption, optimize workflows, and deliver a best‑in‑class client experience.
How You’ll Help Take Us There
- Support senior RFQ Hub coverage with day‑to‑day EU dealer relationship building
- Provide direct support to assigned EU dealers through dealer meetings and RFQ discussions as responsibility increases
- Handle client queries on platform usage, issues, and workflows with Tech and Support teams
- Produce RFQ Hub analytics and reporting for client discussions and internal decisions
- Analyse RFQ activity, hit rates, dealer engagement, and protocol usage using SQL and internal data
- Maintain and enhance MIS and reporting frameworks with new metrics and insights
- Coordinate dealer onboarding across Sales, Product, and IT teams in Europe
- Develop deep RFQ Hub product and market‑structure expertise and capture dealer feedback
- Support commercial growth by tracking adoption trends and owning Tier 2/3 dealer relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 2+ years’ experience in financial services, markets, trading, sales, or market‑structure‑related roles
- Strong interest in electronic trading, RFQ workflows, and market‑structure dynamics
- Interest in automation, data analytics, and emerging AI applications within accounting and finance
- Exposure to equity derivatives and/or electronic trading environments strongly preferred
- Experience in analytical, operational, or client‑facing support roles within a fast‑paced environment
- Familiarity with dealer coverage models, electronic workflows, or RFQ‑based trading
- Strong analytical skills with hands‑on SQL experience working with large datasets
- Ability to work comfortably with ambiguity and help build new processes, analytics, and reporting
- Proven capability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights
- Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills tailored to varied audiences
- Highly organised, proactive, and effective working across Sales, Product, and Technology teams
- Fluent English required, with French a strong advantage
