Your Impact

The primary purpose of the Business Continuity Sr Analyst role is to be a key driver of the Lowe's Business Continuity Program, which seeks to ensure that Lowe's is prepared to both effectively and

efficiently respond to emergencies, crises, and continuity events. This includes applying a multi-disciplinary approach to work with domestic, Allied and/or international businesses to develop, implement and maintain business continuity capabilities, with a focus on minimizing negative impacts to the company's people, processes, infrastructure and technology. The role also supports the Lowe's Crisis Support Team and the Crisis Management Team during live events. This role is critical to ensuring successful and proactive crisis management to avoid severe damage or harm to the enterprise.

What you will do
• Assists in the development, maintenance, and testing of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to ensure organizational resilience.
• Conducts Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) to identify critical functions, dependencies, and risks.
• Develops and enhances Crisis Response Plans to ensure an effective organizational response to disruptions.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure business units have up-to-date continuity strategies in place.
• Designs and delivers Business Continuity and Crisis Management training programs for employees and leadership teams.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes tabletop exercises, simulations, and drills to test response capabilities.
• Documents exercise outcomes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to response plans and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to Business Continuity and Crisis Management.
• Supports internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Maintains detailed records of BCPs, BIAs, risk assessments, and exercise results.
• As needed, supports the activation and management of crisis response efforts during disruptions or emergencies.
• Maintains and enhances communication protocols to ensure timely and accurate internal and external communications.
• Assists in real-time coordination, and post-incident reviews to capture lessons learned.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree Business, Business Continuity, Risk, Audit or Security or equivalent work experience

• 3-5 Years Experience in business continuity related functions or additional 3+ years experience in business continuity related field without a degree
• 5-7 years related experience
• Strong understanding of business continuity frameworks (e.g. ISO 22301, NFPA 1600)
• Experience in developing and facilitating training and exercise programs

Preferred Skills/Education
• Proficiency in business continuity and crisis management tools/software is preferred
• Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC (Green Belt and above)
• Associate Business Continuity Professional
• Certified Functional Continuity Professional
• Certified Business Continuity Professional
• Member Business Continuity Institute, or similar experience
