The primary purpose of this role is to provide technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers complex code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

  • Design and develop scalable web applications and APIs to support AI-powered systems.
  • Lead the implementation of micro frontends and reusable UI libraries to enable fast, flexible development.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data science to deliver intelligent, action-driven user experiences.
  • Drive architecture and code quality standards across frontend and backend codebases.
  • Contribute to AI orchestration layers through data pipeline integration, search infrastructure, and service APIs.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in software development or related field
  • 6 years of experience in any of the following: software engineering competencies frontend technologies (UI/UX), middleware (microservices and APIs), database technologies, DevOps
  • 6 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development lifecycles through iterative agile development
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree)

Preferred Skills/Education

  • Master's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field.
  • 7+ years developing dynamic web apps with AngularJS/ReactJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript (routing, state management, async data fetching).
  • 6+ years creating reusable UI component libraries with React/JavaScript.
  • 4+ years building REST APIs with Node.js, micro frontend architectures with React & Styled Components, and server-side rendered applications with modern frontend stacks.
  • 3+ years working with APIs in modern frameworks and designing apps for automated provisioning.
  • 2+ years containerizing apps with Docker, building custom Backstage plugins, developing Node.js analytics pipelines with Kafka/Postgres, and integrating OIDC providers (Forgerock, Siteminder) with PKCE/Implicit flows.
