Director, Product Management
Your Impact
The Director, Product Management leads a product team responsible for a specific product group. Responsibilities include leading research and product development efforts as well as implementation and execution of the product group strategy. This role develops a comprehensive product strategy, maintains the roadmap and backlog, and establishes the objectives and key results (OKRs) for a specific product group. In addition, the Director develops and presents detailed business cases to senior executives and leads business reviews to ensure that the team prioritizes the right work and delivers the most customer value in the fastest time possible.
What You Will Do
• Set and direct product vision, strategy, and OKRs for entire product portfolio. Own the long-term two- to five-year view of product vision for the product portfolio or strategic capability.
• Influence investment choices that will yield long-term customer benefits in support of vision, including owning the annual planning for the product portfolio and representing the strategy in discussions with leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Demonstrate "customer/user expertise within a product portfolio or strategic capability and leverage enterprise-wide resources to drive improved synergies and efficiencies across product teams.
• Coach and own the care and management of "jobs to be done by personas for all products within the product portfolio or strategic capability.
• Identify and cultivate opportunities to drive innovation across product portfolio.

• Identify issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of products in product portfolio or strategic capability, communicate to leadership, assess alternatives to resolve, and take action on recommendation.
• Establish and audit overall product operating routines across domain to ensure product excellence.
• Coach the product team on prioritization techniques and influence peers on improving prioritization decisions for product delivery.
• Set the standard across the product team and enterprise for building usable, viable, and feasible products.
• Build frameworks and patterns across the product team for product marketing and drive the team to leverage marketing techniques to illustrate the product-market fit of the designated product domain.
• Promote data-driven decision making. Coach the product team to have right product routines focused on data to help drive roadmaps.
• Align product teams on portfolio level metrics. Audit and course correct to ensure OKRs/metrics are healthy.
• Lead a team in support of achieving the company's mission. Manage performance and foster an inclusive environment to help associates achieve their potential.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
• 10 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing
• 6 years of experience working with technology and user experience teams to define, scope and prioritize product requirements while translating business strategy into specific product features and delivering digital products and/or experiences
• 5 years of direct team leadership experience and experience managing operational and/or project financial budgets
• 3 years of experience in an agile software environment
• Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally in a large organization with senior leadership and providing guidance and direction to cross-functional resources
Preferred Skills/Education
• Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience leading the digital product roadmap
• Prior leadership with a top 25 omnichannel retailer
• Strong financial acumen
• Certified Scrum Product Owner

Pay Range: $147,400.00 - $280,100.00 annually Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
