Managed Account Associate
The Role
The Personal Account Management (PAM) Associate is responsible for supporting the PAM Specialists in an effort to enrich existing client relationships and close Separately Managed Account business. Individuals in this role are required to possess knowledge of Lord Abbett’s SMA products, operational processes, marketing collateral, and market conditions to ensure clients receive an experience that exceeds expectations.
We’ll trust you to:
- Be a dedicated and trusted partner for the Regional Managers, Portfolio Managers, Advisor Consultants, SMA Specialists and fellow Associates
- Assist with running client proposals, transition analysis in a timely manner and ensure all required edits are made prior to sending back to the Specialist
- Collaborate with the Investment team(s) and Regional Managers to ensure accuracy of the data analytics within proposals and transition analysis
- Support marketing initiatives to distribute and enhance SMA content (kits, flyers, proposals, etc.)
- Partner with SMA Specialists to assist in ongoing operational items for clients
- Partner with Digital Services to drive operational efficiencies where appropriate
- Assist with reporting end-of-day sales to Regional Managers and leadership
- Develop a deep understanding of Lord Abbett’s SMA business including products, platform availability, fees and customization capabilities.
- Embrace best practices and act as a change agent to identify opportunities for process improvements
You'll need to have:

- Series 7, 66, and SIE licenses

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
