Program Overview
The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector.
This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field. As part of this program, the Social Media Intern will join the Communications Department, supporting digital content creation and community engagement efforts that help amplify Lincoln Center's programming and mission across platforms.

What you'll get to do:
- Draft social media posts to promote Lincoln Center Presents events
- Support editing of social graphics and video content
- Assist during video content shoots
- Respond to messages and comments in social inboxes to foster community engagement
- Help create and post Instagram Stories
- Participate in brainstorms for social content planning
- Research trends and ideas to inform future campaigns and content
- Support social influencer campaigns by assisting with research and outreach

You'll be a great fit if you are:
- A college student or graduate student with an interest in communications, social media, graphic design and content creation, or marketing
- Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
- Available to work 20-35 hours per week from March/April-August 2026
- 20 hours per week from March/April 2026 - June 2026
- 35 hours per week from June 2026 - August 2026
- Availability to work occasional evenings or weekends to support live event coverage
- Familiar with major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, etc.)
- Experience with video editing for social media(using tools like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro,CapCut, Reels, TikTok etc.)
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g.Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, Canva)
- Able to write social copy with minimal grammatical or spelling errors
- Comfortable with collaboration and proactive communication
- A self-starter who also thrives in team environments
