Department: Campus Relations - Performance and Campus Operations
Overview: Reporting to the Director - Campus Relations, the Event Operations Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining superior care standards during Public Area events at the venues governed and operated by Performance and Campus Relations (PaCO). This work will primarily consist of collaborating with key stakeholders during the coverage of the event timeline (i.e. load-in / main event / load-out), providing oversight as required, helping to support the objectives established by the Dept. of Campus Relations, actively adapting practices to balance guest primacy, event and campus operations, and institutional mission. This position is an hourly, on call position which plays a vital role of implementing strategy and logistics across the event operatives, supporting the department directors, and leading initiatives to maintain the institution's Campus Engagement.
Role's Objective:
- Oversee the onsite event operations with the client and Event Production, reviewing all plans/plots/schedules/equipment lists
- Ensure campus guidelines and event site conditions are maintained for proper operating means
- Coordinate all event logistics in support of Lincoln Center and its constituents
- Proactively maintain communication channels via emails, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings
- Supervise on-site trades, union and non-union staff; manage and motivate all through the phases of the project at hand
What you'll get to do here:
- Provides onsite logistical management and order to the event operations working closely with security, porters, engineers, and event production to provide all of the necessary tools / oversight for events
- Submitting a post-event report outlining all feedback pertaining to the assigned project/event
- Provides access to necessary assets for event use
- Performs general clerical duties (photocopy, fax, mails, and files, etc.) as needed
- When assigned, act as the primary point of contact on behalf of Campus Relations to oversee the full scope of the campus and client experience, ensuring that all logistics / protocols are adhered to for client/constituent execution.
- Work hours are as required/assigned and will vary from project to project
You'll be a good fit if you have:
- Experience in event logistics or venue operations, managing load‑in, event execution, and load‑out.
- Ability to read and execute event plans, schedules, and equipment lists.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, production, security, engineering, and facilities teams.
- Experience supervising union and non‑union staff during on‑site operations.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions during live events.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Comfortable working variable hours, including nights and weekends.
