Position: Emergent Artist Initiatives Program Manager (Part-Time)

Role Overview: Education is integral to Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts' mission and purpose, engaging educators, teaching artists, emerging artists, families, and audiences of all ages. Our foundational approach in Aesthetic Education focuses on specific works of art, inquiry, reflection, and research. The Emergent Artist Initiatives' portfolio focuses on the intersection of equity and agency within the arts in education space for teens and young adults, providing equitable opportunities for arts learning and exploration.

Under the guidance of the Director, Emergent Artist Initiatives (EAI), the part-time program manager will be responsible for managing and executing the day-to-day administrative needs of its projects and programs. The part-time Program Manager will be an integral member of the Education team, focusing their time and attention to achieving the overall strategic goals of the Young Artist Pipeline program and other EAI initiatives.

Part-Time Temporary Position (29 hours per week)

Hourly Wage: $35-40/hr

Start date: 3/3/26

End Date: 12/31/26

What you'll get to do here:

  • Ensure all communications with assigned teaching artists are consistent and clear
  • Ensure LCE team is informed of overall program needs and updates
  • Organize and manage all correspondence with students' parents and guardians
  • Develop and share a monthly family newsletter
  • Manage all surveys needed and field trip logistics
  • Be on-site for all Saturday sessions scheduled, as the primary contact representing the program for students and families
  • Support the needs of the end-of-semester Open Studio and other events in the Emergent Artist portfolio
  • Ensuring items are purchased, stored and ready for use on each Saturday.
  • Coordinate with LCE Assistant Line Producer on evaluating logistical needs for the Saturday sessions

You'll be a fit if you bring:

  • 2-5 years of experience with arts in education programs, specifically working with direct service programs focusing on equity and positive community impact
  • Familiarity with budgeting parameters
  • Project management acumen
  • Ability to multitask
  • Professional and personable demeanor
