Program Overview: The Lincoln Center Internship Program is a paid, in-person arts administration internship designed for NYC-based undergraduate and graduate students seeking meaningful, real-world experience in the cultural sector.
This program cultivates the next generation of leaders by offering hands-on work opportunities and access to professionals across the arts and culture field.
Interns gain access to:
- Meaningful in-person work experience in the arts and culture sector
- Professional development workshops focused on career readiness
- A vibrant community of peers and program alumni
- A Conversation Series featuring leaders across Lincoln Center
- Access to special events that reflect Lincoln Center's mission as the world's leading performing arts center
What you'll get to do:
- Help choose, gather, and organize materials for Create-athons(live and video) and related workshop events
- Provide support for instruction and activity at Create-athonevents
- Organize and catalog material stock for the Education team
- Support events and document distribution
- Provide occasional assistance at Pipeline and family workshops
- Help sort, prioritize, organize, and archive historical records related to Lincoln Center Education, gaining experience in archival processes and the history of a foundational arts-education organization. the history of a foundational arts-education organization
- Participate in training on accessibility practices
- Learn about inquiry-based facilitation, drawing from Lincoln Center's foundational arts education practices
- Learn about the history of arts education at Lincoln Center Education
- Learn how thoughtful material selection shapes engagement-anticipating participant needs, addressing potential challenges, and categorizing materials in ways that encourage participation
- Gain hands-on experience that builds skills in teamwork, organization, and program planning, while exploring how design choices impact the success of educational and creative activities

You'll be a great fit if you are:
- A rising college senior, recent graduate or equivalent
- Based in New York City or the Greater NYC area
- Available to work 20 hours per week from February-May 2026
- Some Saturdays, Sundays, and a few Friday nights are required
- Available Wednesday afternoons to participate in internship program workshops
- A self-starter who thrives in team environments
- Passionate about arts, education, and community engagement
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn how creative programming comes to life
