This position will require a hybrid work model out of one of the listed locations: Boston, MA; Portsmouth, NH; Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; or Plano, TX

We are seeking a highly organized and servant-leader-minded Scrum Master to guide our Agile teams, remove impediments, and ensure smooth delivery of high-quality products. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Designers, and key stakeholders to cultivate an Agile mindset and continuously improve team performance. This position is a member of an Agile team and is responsible for enabling the team to be more effective applying the relevant Agile approach (Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.) and cultivates an environment that supports Agility. Coaches, mentors and teaches team members, proactively seeks to eliminate or minimize impact of barriers, and addresses challenges to team delivery. Works closely with Product Owners and other SMs to support release planning, backlog and team health, and cross-team communication. Fosters team decision making, transparency and independence, encourages cross-training and team support.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Serve as Scrum Master for 2-4 cross-functional squads supporting business-critical platforms</li><li>Facilitate all core agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Reviews, Retrospectives)</li><li>Proactively identify and remove impediments across teams and dependencies</li><li>Partner closely with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and Site Reliability Engineering teams</li><li>Drive continuous improvement using metrics such as flow, predictability, and delivery health</li><li>Coach teams on agile and scrum best practices, with a strong focus on accountability and outcomes</li><li>Experience working in large, distributed enterprise teams preferred</li><li>Uses retrospectives and other Lean-Agile techniques to implement small changes that lead to demonstratable improvement for the team.</li><li>Facilitates team level events using well-known facilitation techniques. Understands the importance of establishing trust and the need to remain neutral when facilitating.</li><li>Assesses the Agile/Scrum maturity of the team and helps identify areas where coaching may be needed to foster improvement.</li><li>Actively seeks coaching and mentoring from more experienced SMs &amp; coaches.</li><li>Enables close cooperation and collaboration across all roles and functions.</li><li>Focuses on improving relationships within the team as well as with their key stakeholders. </li><li>Shares resources with the team on various agility and lean topics. Develops skills to observe and provide consistent and impactful feedback.</li><li>Ensures team is clear on the vision or "why" for the change. </li><li>Seeks to understand the current mindset and practices and how that aligns or deviates from the desired change.</li></ul><b>Qualifications</b><ul><li>Bachelors degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, humanities, etc

  • Minimum of 4 years related experience
  • Experience working within a vendor model of support preferred
  • Experience with JIRA and/or Confluence preferred
  • Experience with AI tools preferred
  • Knowledge/training equivalent to beginner/1st level certification from a reputable Lean-Agile organization (PSK I, PSM I, CSM, etc) a plus
  • Preferably 1 to 3 years of experience as a member of an Agile team, or related experience
  • Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architectures and technical standards
  • Strong problem solver with ability to work with a team to maximize progress, potential and overall effectiveness

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
