Product Analysis Senior Analyst

Yesterday Flexible / Remote

Description

Join the U.S. Retail Markets (USRM) Product, Risk & Compliance Solutions team as a Senior Analyst, focusing on Issues Management and detailed impact assessments to support error corrections, policy updates, and risk mitigation. This role involves conducting moderate to highly complex analytics that drive actionable insights to resolve defects, errors, and process inefficiencies within the Product organization.

This position requires a strong command of data analysis, business intelligence tools, and project management skills to independently deliver strategic recommendations that enhance operational outcomes while collaborating across multiple stakeholders including State Management, IT squads, Legal, various Product Teams, and Enterprise Risk teams.

As a Senior Product Analyst within the U.S. Retail Markets Product, Risk, & Compliance Solutions team, you'll play a crucial role in driving issue resolution and risk mitigation across our product portfolio. This position focuses on conducting detailed impact assessments by analyzing errors that have been put into production and accurately reproducing policies within large data sets as they should have been applied if no error had occurred.

  • You will generate comprehensive policy lists that quantify refund amounts owed to customers, including any applicable interest or penalties, ensuring every financial exposure is accounted for. Beyond the numbers, you'll provide strategic recommendations based on your analysis to guide stakeholders toward the best possible decisions for issue remediation.
  • Leveraging advanced data analytics and business intelligence tools like PowerBI, SAS, and Snowflake SQL, you'll uncover root causes behind defects and process errors. Your expertise ensures the integrity and quality of results while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners in Product, Legal, Risk, IT, and Compliance to align solutions with enterprise standards.
  • A key part of your role will be keeping stakeholders well-informed by providing clear updates on project deliverables, timelines, status reports, and relevant communications-ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the issue resolution lifecycle.
  • Innovation is also central: you'll integrate GenAI technologies to streamline data preparation, automate workflows, and accelerate insight generation-all while maintaining critical oversight to verify accuracy and mitigate bias.
  • You will independently manage projects from issue identification through resolution-communicating clear analytical findings via compelling dashboards and concise reports tailored for senior leadership. At the Lead level, you also mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement initiatives to embed best practices across teams.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to apply advanced quantitative skills and project management expertise in a dynamic environment where your analyses directly improve product quality, regulatory compliance, customer restitution-and foster strong stakeholder collaboration at one of America's leading financial services firms.

  • Builds repeatable, documented AI-assisted processes (templates, validated prompts, unit tests) so efficiency gains scale across teams.
  • Maintains a critical stance: verifies outputs, checks for data leakage, bias, and accuracy, and documents assumptions.
Issue Impact Assessment
  • Perform detailed impact assessments identifying affected policies, financial exposures, control gaps, and compliance risks associated with issues.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, Legal, Risk functions and enterprise risk groups to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements while mitigating exposures.
