Marketing Operations Data Manager

Are you a detail-oriented Salesforce guru with a natural curiosity and knack for operational problem solving? If you're a self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments, we want to meet you! Join our team as a Marketing Operations Data Manager and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our marketing operations.

In this position, you'll play a crucial role on our marketing operations team, ensuring that we effectively reach the right audience through precise data management and insightful reporting. Your Salesforce expertise will be instrumental in executing personalized campaigns and maintaining data integrity. We're looking for a thorough, inquisitive problem-solver to help propel our mission forward.

Responsibilities:

Audience Management and Personalized Campaign Execution:

  • Curate contact data for personalized campaign lists
  • Create Salesforce marketing initiative/capture campaigns
  • Develop and manage distribution list rules for recurring email communications
  • Manage creation of internal distribution lists for internal email previews
Data Integrity and Hygiene Oversight:
  • Lead recurring data hygiene exercises to ensure the credibility of our contact data
  • Investigate and resolve issues preventing our emails from reaching companies and contacts
  • Track and improve email records lacking associated website login IDs through ongoing analysis and recurring campaigns
Marketing Cloud Administration and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Serve as the team's administrator for our Salesforce Marketing Cloud account, handling user management, MID accounts, synchronization, workflow automations, and troubleshooting support in partnership with the broader Marketing team
  • Ensure compliance across CAN-SPAM act and contractual obligations like managing contact limits, super-messages limits, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for enhanced functionality and user experience
  • Oversee creation and management of email contact preference center
Reporting:
  • Manage monthly operations reports
  • Manage ongoing manual data feeds for Marketing applications on a recurring basis
  • Create unique tracking links as needed (e.g., UTMs)
  • Customized Salesforce report generation as needed

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration or Communications preferred or equivalent experience required</li><li> Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a marketing driven organization</li><li> Requires advanced knowledge of marketing communications principles and practices</li><li> Experience working with and/or managing outside agencies</li><li> Strong oral and written communication skills required</li><li> Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work on multiple priorities</li><li> Strong knowledge of relevant technologies</li><li> Strong organizational, coordination, project management, and analytical skills</li><li> Strong presentation skills required</li><li> Budget management and project management experience preferred</li><li> Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization</li><li> Proactively seeks to learn and apply new tactics and job skills to enhance current role and improve broader teams performance
  • Demonstrates understanding of insurance industry, products, services, and trends
  • Actively seeks to expand and integrate marketing knowledge and skills into recommendations, as well as function responsibilities and the connection to the broader organization

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
