The Digital Modernization Sector of Leidos is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to support our DISA IT Business Area. Our Global Supply Chain organization is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to support the programs, proposals, and business objectives of the Digital Modernization Sector. This role performs full life cycle ("cradle-to-grave") subcontract management activities supporting Government programs which complies with contract requirements, company policies and procedures, and applicable laws and acquisition regulations.
The successful candidate will be the primary interface between subcontractors and the program for the contractual management of agreements of various types typically of a low to moderate dollar value, risk, creativity and complexity, and will interact with other functional areas (e.g., program management, contracts, project control, finance, growth, etc.) to complete the necessary activities for the portfolio they're assigned. They will be expected to effectively manage their time, prioritize actions, meet deadlines with limited supervision, and be a detail-oriented peer who can work both independently and as part of a team.

Primary Responsibilities
While not an exhaustive list, activities in the subcontracting process that are responsibilities of this role are: supporting proposal activities (e.g., negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of moderate to complex solicitation packages from customer requirements, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiation of price and terms and conditions, etc.), subcontract award, and post-award management (e.g., subcontract modifications, risk identification & mitigation , issue resolution, internal reporting, closeout activities, etc.). The complexity of assignments will increase with demonstrated proficiency, judgement, and business acumen and, accordingly, will be expected to identify and resolve moderately complex issues and problems on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with no years of prior relevant experience.
- Must be US Citizen.
- Must be able to clearly articulate statuses and issues to management, internal partners, and suppliers
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preference: Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Experience awarding and managing subcontracts in a government approved purchasing system including a basic knowledge of the requirements of the FAR and DFARS
- Experience negotiating price and terms and conditions
- Working experience with automated purchasing system (preferably Deltek Costpoint and iValua)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
