The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Special Security Officer (SSO) to lead Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security operations at Andersen AFB, Guam, in support of Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). This critical role oversees the full spectrum of SCI security functions-personnel, physical, information, and cybersecurity-ensuring strict compliance with national and DoD directives while safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive data across multiple SCIFs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage SCI security programs across personnel, physical, information, and cybersecurity
  • Interpret and apply DNI, DIA, DoD, and USAF directives (ICD 704, ICD 705, DoDM 5105.21)
  • Administer SCI policies, manuals, and regulations to uphold SSO responsibilities
  • Conduct SCI indoctrinations, briefings, and NDA collection
  • Authenticate SCI visitor clearances and maintain records in DISS and Scattered Castles
  • Lead investigations into SCI infractions, cybersecurity incidents and produce actionable reports
  • Develop and maintain SCIF accreditation documentation
  • Execute annual self-inspections and support Program Compliance Reviews (PCRs)
  • Deliver mandatory SCI security awareness training and updates
  • Support implementation of RMF controls and coordinate with ISSM for system authorization
  • Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including DoDI 8500.01 and NIST SP 800-53

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance on day one
  • 8+ years experience in the Security field.
  • Associate's degree with 6+ years (experience may substitute for degree)
  • Demonstrated expertise in SCI security operations across all domains
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and DoD security systems (DISS, Scattered Castles, JPAS)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and DoD cyber compliance requirements
  • Ability to operate independently in high-stakes environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SPeD Security Fundamentals Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a security or cybersecurity-related field
  • ICD 705 Site Security Manager (SSM) Certification
  • Security Asset Protection Professional Certification
  • PMP Certification
  • Security+ or other DoD 8570-compliant cybersecurity certification

Pay Range:

Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
