We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Release Management Lead to support the NISSC III contract. This person will coordinate Event Managed Deliveries (EMD) and participate in technical and management meetings for such deliveries. They will work with stakeholders and External Providers, Government Program leadership and others. Most of the work will take place at the Test and Development Facility (TDF) on Peterson Space Force Base. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background; excellent communication, leadership, and logistics skills; and the ability to manage multiple mission priorities simultaneously.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead technical project planning sessions that identify tasks and project milestones to achieve the selected outcomes/results for Contract Sustainment Actions and plan application of resources to perform the tasks.
- Conduct multi-disciplined technical reviews and audits applying guidance from the Government and contract leadership.
- Coordinate and de-conflict resource availability across concurrent contractor activities including Continuous Work, Cadence Managed Deliveries (CMD), and resources supporting External Providers and other site leadership at the TDF.
- Build, test, demonstrate task perform analysis, requirements definition, design, develop, procure, integrate, test, document, and demonstrate hardware, software, use of cloud hosts, and documentation.
- Collaborate with each External Provider to prepare, deliver, implement, and maintain an External Provider Integration and Support Plan for each External Provider.
- Facilitate External Provider access to and understanding of technical baseline artifacts, mission operations information, systems performance, and OM&S work in-process that is relevant inside the TDF as needed.
- Purchase and hardware and software specified for the external provider effort and both transport and deliver those items to the identified location in support of the External Provider effort.
- Support tasks, coordinate, control, and facilitate integration activities which include configuration/change management, technical baseline change management, test and evaluation, systems integration, and deployment of External Provider delivered artifacts.
- Resolves highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation
- Requires ability to communicate with senior customer leadership regarding initiatives and solutions for various projects
- Able to persuade others to accept updated practices/concepts and reach consensus on approaches/strategies
- Provide leadership and mentoring to other junior team members
- Other tasking as needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience; Additional experience, training, and/or certifications may substitute degree requirement.
- US Citizen; Currently possessing an Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI upon hire.
- Expertise with two or more of the following: software development, networking, cyber security, systems engineering, or project management
- An in-depth understanding of space base capabilities, orbits, sensors and ballistic trajectories
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in related field with 6+ years of experience
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
- Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts
- Basic understanding of Space Based systems, various orbits and Catalog Maintenance
- Familiarity with common industry standards and Cyber Security tools
- Familiarity with DOD regulations and directives
- Familiarity with the NISSC program and AF/SF space priorities
- Current TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Experience working in a Digital Engineering environment or with NoMagic CAMEO is a plus.
- Experience with NISSC or other Air Force programs
