Lead QA Tester
Description
The Automation Tester will join a high-impact program, focused on building and maintaining automated testing frameworks for mission-critical applications. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing tests to ensure the quality and functionality of systems as well as documenting test results and collaborating with development teams to resolve any identified issues. This person should be a seasoned, self-motivated, professional with at least 8 years of hands-on testing engineering experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Primary Responsibilities
• Execute Automated Test Suites Across Multiple Environments:
o Lead and manage the QA team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing needs, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions
o Design and implement testing strategies and methodologies for web applications
o Develop, document, and maintain functional, integration, security, and load/stress testing procedure

o Identify, analyze, and report defects and issues promptly, and work with the development team to resolve them
o Document and deliver an approach for automated acceptance testing, integration/regression testing, all new applications, and all new capabilities
o Develop new and/or maintain existing automated scripts developed in Selenium (Web based, Desktop, Mobile, API, and Database)
o Develop scenarios using Java, Selenium, and Selenium WebDriver
o Develop new and/or maintain existing automated scripts developed in Selenium (Web based, Desktop, Mobile, API, and Database)
o Develop scenarios using Java, Selenium, and Selenium WebDriver
o Develop and/or maintain automation scripts created in Selenium into the CI/CD cloud pipeline by utilizing tools like Bitbucket, GitLab or other approved DISA tools
o Enhance automation frameworks and collaborate on optimizing pipeline efficiency while adhering to established best practices
o Develop and integrate Test Driven Development (TDD) into the existing automation framework
o Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
o Drive test automation best practices across the organization
Basic Qualifications
- Must have TS/SCI clearance.
- BA and 8+ years of experience in software testing and QA with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- • Proficiency with Test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, Cucumber
- Strong knowledge of networking and operating systems
- Experience working in a high op-temp, top secret environment
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment
- Proficiency in conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex information systems
- Knowledge of test engineering methodology
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across internal and external organizations
- Candidate must possess an active DOD TS/SCI. May be asked to obtain CI Poly.
- Preferred prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners

Pay Range:
Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
