Leidos, is seeking Controls Engineers in Walled Lake, MI.

Experience in HVAC, Process Controls, Chillers, Airhouses, Water Treatment, Boilers, PLC system design, field startup and supervision is preferred. Position has hardware, software, and design requirements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

-Possession of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 0+ years of experience.

-Experience with PLC programs such as RSLogix, TIA Portal and Unity is preferred, but not required.

-Computer literate, combination of training and experience.
-Ability to break down large tasks into smaller sub tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

-Producing control system electrical schematics.

-Understanding PLC control ladder logic.

-Writing controls functional specifications and sequence of operations.

-Developing HMI user interface screens.

-Developing and testing control systems adhering to customer specifications & quality standards.

-Performing onsite start-up and troubleshooting/resolving technical issues.

-Commissioning I/O, sequence of operations and interface screens.

WORKING CONDITIONS

-Scheduled hours are typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with 1 hour for lunch, however, flexibility must be maintained to change hours as necessary.
-Must be able to travel as project requirements dictate. Must be willing to travel locally, nationally, and internationally un-aided via motor vehicle (locally) or air transportation (nationally and internationally).
-Indoors and outdoors, part time typical office environment, part time remote site office and building construction environments, potentially hazardous.
-Subject to exposure to light and glare from CRT or monitor.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
